DELIBERATE is a citizens’ engagement project funded under the EU programme Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV).

It creates inclusive spaces for citizens who are often underrepresented in democratic processes to participate in dialogue, share experiences, and engage with questions of democracy and representation.

Through deliberative events, civic learning activities, and digital engagement, DELIBERATE supports citizens in understanding democratic processes and expressing their views in structured and accessible ways. The project encourages reflection on how decisions are made and promotes exchange across generations, communities, and local contexts.

By combining face-to-face participation with online tools, DELIBERATE strengthens informed civic engagement, mutual understanding, and democratic values, contributing to more inclusive and resilient democratic participation across Europe.
